You have successfully infiltrated the secret testing facility of the mysterious corporation known as "Weapons and Advanced Technology" - W.A.T. for short. But you've triggered their automated security systems! As the armed drones close in on you, you reach for the closest experimental weapon you can find. And... wait, what IS that thing? Who thought this would be useful!?
My interpretation of this theme for this Dare was to give the player a collection of weird, impractical, and somewhat dangerous weapons. I think it worked out pretty well! The stick figure art style doesn't look nearly as bad as I feared, either!
Nothing new, but certainly worth the time to play with the odd weapons. Areas you might want to improve in are the graphics, which allude ignobly to a 2001 flash-era game, and the music, which sources itself straight out of a NES console. Other than that, good job!
Funny game! This might be the first platformer I've played, where my weapons were almost as dangerous to myself as to my enemies :-) A bit of variety in the enemies, to match the variety in the weapons, would have made the game even better, I think.
Very confused until I realized what the first weapon was doing. Definitely unconventional. Could have used some more variety to keep it interesting but it was still a fun game for a short time. Weapon three was my favorite.
Hi GenericTeamName - the WebGL thing is really early in development on Unity's side. If you're having any troubles at all with that, I'd recommend downloading the game.
Loved the game, very similar to mine. A suggestion would be to have space bar as an option to jump, because some people prefer to use it over w. (I should not be talking, i only had space bar to jump in my game) I also feel that double jumping would add a lot more to the game. the character movement had a little bit to much momentum for my tastse.
Heh, that was pretty fun, like others commenting I loved the 2nd weapon :) Having even more crazy weapons in the game would have been awesome. Nice use of the theme though.
