Banana Battle
A Game where you try to destroy your friend using the unconventional weapon of the banana. Fire bananas at each other using your wheel's cannon. Although, this cannon can also be used to defend against incoming bananas. Collect power ups to get short boosts like increased speed or rapid fire.

Game should support Windows, Linux and Mac.
Game programmed in Java using LWJGL and self-made base library (available on Github).
GIMP used for graphics.
Fruity loops and Audacity used for audio. Paulscode's SoundSystem library also used.
Nice game! If it had an AI enemy and rebindable keys (on my german keyboard z and y are changed, so player1 has a hard time) it would be even better :) But I really like it.
Nice! seems like itd be fun with another person. I liked the driving up walls (though its hard to get up to the top of the level), and the sound effects on hit were nice.

Played with no sound, so I can't rate that, but everything else is pretty sweet. I can imagine playing this with a friend using xbox 360 controllers lol.

Amazing amazing grpahics, and fx. Even the mechanic is very good. Putting that together in less than 48 hours was probably hard. It's a nice two player game. Shooting bananas. What if the bananas could explode on impact :D
It was a nice surprise to see that I can climb walls but it didn't always work from a cold start (required running start) It was fun to play, but aiming and steering at the same time was a tiny bit awkward.
