some nice z-brush work (I'm assuming, looks very much that way) but its a shame you couldn't get some textures or better controls in there. Good effort
This game kind of freaked the crap out of me. The rolling goblin heads are by far the scariest thing, but even the protagonist isn't someone I'd like to meet in real life. I still rated this pretty high! (Being sarcastic, it was funny.)
@ManicMiner: It's actually Sculptris, a free software. I highly recommend it. It's fun and fast and pretty much perfect for Ludum Dare. Also retopo and baking in Blender these days is fast and effortless. Yeah, texture painting, rigging, skinning and animating isn't my forte. Maybe for the next time I've mastered those topics. :)
Wonderfull graphics, shooting with your weiner is fun, but the game felt like Diablo III version 1.0, having to kite and shoot backwards to survive is a bit boring.
Well it's definitely playable! The models are awesome in a bizarre way, too. In terms of gameplay, there isn't much to it; the heads go so fast that you have to be continually circling around. Kind of repetitive. Good job, though!
I really liked the handmade clay aesthetic. And it was a constant terror deciding whether it was worth running or using the cannon to kill your pursuers. Great job!
The difficulty kind of jumps up suddenly when that horde of rolly things get involved. It's a fun concept and it plays smoothly but it needs to increase it's difficulty a bit smoother.
the rolling heads somehow made me think to Sen to Chihiro yubaba's 3x heads. The game was fun enough to play, some animations woudl add a lot. The red explosion is pretty. I think that if we have a belt cannon you should make player point to mouse and not moving direction.
