With only a candle, crates and crates of fireworks, and a few matches, survive against the demons that lurk in the darkness. Only a sulfurous flame can harm them...
I'm pretty happy about how this turned out. HaxeFlixel is a fun little engine, perfect for LD endeavors. This was our second LD, first time finishing, and I think we managed to avoid some of the mistakes we made our first time around: trying to make elegant code frameworks, excessive scope, fumbling around in photoshop, etc.
Had to cut a few features- skill shots, self-damage, and some of the visual effects are not quite what I'd want, but that's the nature of the beast I guess. It's been a glorious, exhausting weekend!
This is a nice entry for the LD32. I like the mood, but I have sometimes a difficulty so as to displave my player. Something goes wrong with the keys. However, dispite this, I have liked to walk alone on these darkness corridor. Thank you ++
