In Hoi Polloi, the gamer impersonates a solitary parliament member craving for power, in the name of the "hoi polloi" (i.e., "the many", "the majority"). To conquer other parliament members, he touches them with his body. The more members he lures, the bigger his party becomes, and the slower his party moves around inside the parliament. The politician's goal is to take possession of the entire parliament!
I have plans (for a post-compo version) to add some twists to pigs' behavior, e.g., leaving the party, or voluntarly joining it ("surrender" would be the right word :D) I would also like to add a "rogue pig" that would be able to overturn the status quo once the main character has conquered the majority, by following his same behaviors.
