Nice job! The gameplay is very repetitive but that is kind of nice, I got in a trance-like state just laser-ing those saucers to that sweet buzzing sound! ;)
Interesting theme and art (except the explosions that feel a bit odd compared to the rest), but no real challenge in its current state. It’s up to you to find some interesting gameplay now! Maybe the spaceships could deal damage as they go down.
It is a good game for a Jam, the rocket is better and funnier than laser but I didn't found a great challenge with this game, anyway is fun to explode some ufos.
I feel like I would have given a higher overall rating if there were a boss, or a tank to soak up damage and keep my lasers off of the other enemies. Add a couple more enemy types and watch the replay value skyrocket.
