Here is finally my entry !
First of all, controls :
- Arrow keys to move
- X to Accept
- C to Cancel
- Escape to quit
This LD was a little bit special, because I got a big lack a motivation during the whole weekend. But I managed to finish a game, and everything went better than expected.
So basically, POWERS is a game where you play as the mayor of a city, but you need to flee your work and get some holidays. To get them, you'll need to use all the powers you got, here represented by two rubber stamp : ACCEPT (to open doors) and CANCEL (to cancel your ennemies who wants you to work and sign papers).
POWERS was inspired by a real fact that happened to me, my friends, and some 35000 other people a few times ago : a big music festival was cancel by the mayor of the city only 30 minutes before door opening.
To conclude with POWERS
it's cool because :
- you can CANCEL real people
- there's 5 levels, even if I could make a lot more with motivation
it's sad because :
- I wanted to make a lot more assets, especially for level art
done with :
- GameMaker
- Photoshop
- SFXR
- Bosca Ceoil
