‘Reclamation: Tales of Seasia’ is the story of a small group of animals trying to save their home. A calculating Hawk, a vengeful Viper and a wise old Squirrel come together to help save what is left of their forest home, which is being consumed by ‘Them’. Only with the help of the rest of the community, and few choice words in the right direction, will these little critters have the power to overcome such destruction.
Using the basis of a platformer, ‘Reclamation: Tales of Seasia’ utilises the exploration of lush forest and dire wasteland in the back-drop of the platform adventure, with a fresh twist on combat. Combat is not combat as such, but a battle of wits, where the player much choose the argument best suited to his opponent. This text based rock-paper-scissors mechanic creates a thinking-mans combat, reminiscent of games like Pokemon, Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.
With the help of the mysterious Owl Witch, players will see the vibrant and threatened land of Seasia through the eyes of the few who are left to save it. Happy gaming.
