Why make a boardgame? First of all because this is singlehandedly the most unconventional weapon you can pick for a Ludum Dare, apart maybe from making a pizza, but I'm not sure you can submit a pizza.
Also, we wanted to make a board-game.

Required material: A Tileset (print ours or make your own as long as you keep tiles ratio) and pawns (we used fabulous FIMO dicks).
