Time School

Well, at least I submitted something. I was struggling last night & this morning, but after cutting the scope back A LOT it finally became "playable". I'm not feeling too great about the content, but am happy I "submitted" something. Wish I had more time to add more animations and art. Learned a LOT this jam though, and happy I participated.

Play as a kid who has a special watch: it can age people really fast, to the point where they die. He's in high school, and so he uses it against bullies that are chasing him down. Using the device will age himself as well, so to combat this - the enemies drop items that lower your age, and items will randomly spawn on top of the lockers that also lower your age.

W = jump(can jump on top of the lockers)
S = jump down from lockers
A/D = move left/right
SPACE = use aging device

Construct2 - engine
PyxelEdit - art
Bosca Ceoil - music
BFXR - sound effects

Couldn't play this for too long. The music goes absolutely mental, doubling over itself.

Even though the game isn't that good looking or works particularly well, it is a clever take on the theme and a funny setting anyway :) Good job on submitting something!

As mentioned, the music overlaying on restart is a bug, and should be fixed. Promising concept, but there's not much to it in it's current form.

Good idea for the theme. The game's a bit shoddy, but I guess you knew that :) Really need to fix the music bug though - I think that's one of the things it would be fine to fix after the end of the compo.

You shold stop the previus instance of the music before starting a new one.
