Goblin villages have been proliferating at the edges of the kingdom and people have grown fearful for their lives. A hero is chosen to exterminate as many of the green menace as possible, for God, glory, and gold. He knows this will be a one-way mission.

When I started, I didn't get it anything and was really confused. Reading that you had to use X to attack and the concept of the game and everything made MUCH more sense. Very unique, I liked! :D
Loved the goblin comments, controls felt a bit mushy, some more visual or audio feedback when I hit something would be nice. Any feedback when you'd been hit would have been nice.
I'm glad to see you used the pico-8. It's a charming little engine.
Regarding the game, I wish there were more to do. The dialog was really shone through. My mother is proud of me dammit (I literally laughed out loud when I read that).
Good little game, but when I'm on the edge betwnw two "segments" of the game. it starts to flicker between them, wery anoying andthen i get slaind before i know it. I like the text in the bottom part :)
The quotes on the top and bottom of the screen really made my day, they're all so absurd! Funny in an odd kind of way, and enjoyable even if it was a little basic. Keep it up!
