After you killed your parents, people in the surrounding villages swore to kill you and take the land as their own.
In a drawer you found a letter from your parents:
Dearest son,
We won’t be around forever. Here are a few tips on how to rule your kingdom.
Always keep your slaves well fed, they are eating small rations and produce lots of food.
Make sure the villagers know your true power, otherwise they will uprise and try to overrule you. If you choose to attack a village, be aware of it’s defenses, they boost the villagers’ abilities to fight. To shut them down for good, kill all the people in the village, then burn it to the ground!
Don’t forget to rest after a long day. You’ll need all the energy you can get.
A peaceful life is not a king’s life.
