You're from the planet Xebula-848, but you just crashed in the middle of an empty room, on another planet, for some complicated reasons.
People of this world sees you like a threat, and will use flamethrowers to kill you. You must stay alive as long as you can, and you'll be helped by your ability to throw lasers with your eyes.
I made this game with Java and LibGDX for the programming part, Photoshop for the graphics and sfxr for the sounds.
Pretty fun! Quite difficult to play on a laptop though, that's for sure! I did really like your art direction though. I had originally planned to have a similar art direction in my own submission if you can believe it! Great work! Love to see some LibGDX projects!
The design of the monster is pretty funny, the way the eyes move and shrink was cool, the game was a bit too simple though, would've been nice to have something else to mix up the shooting a little
Welp, I got burned like potato. Funny thing is, this one was pretty simple, but it was funny to play. way better then some other more complicated entries! :D Also, libGDX power FTW! additional star for that :-P Eat it Unity :-P
Nice game, my highest score was 50 cause had issues moving faster on my laptop but still had fun. The design was well done and liked the monster eyes moving, helped add character.
I don't agree with your presentation of the game :P I didn't crash into a empty room, it was at MY home, i was having a party, i put on my best hat, and i was swrmed with eveil flamethrowers from NOD-zombie... how this can make me the monster? I can't take it! i had to defend myself from the invadors, gosh i was so misunderstood.... i will die.........leaving my souvenir.......arghh
