You play a monster that survives on energy orbs. Without these orbs you will stop emitting light and die. The goal of the game is to collect all the energy orbs without dying.

You also have to watch out for the humans. They think you are a dangerous monster and they will come after you and try to kill you when they see you.

The maze is generated randomly every time you play. In the menu you will be able to change the default settings and choose the size of the maze, your speed, the speed of the humans, ...
But even without changing any settings each time the maze will be completely different.

To move use WASD or QZSD or the arrow keys.

The game was written in c++ with SFML and TGUI, the graphics were created with GIMP and the few sound effects were generated with sfxr.

This game was pretty fun. Though it seems a bit.. endless. Can the ghost ever win?

Overall, pretty good. I like the replayability of the game, and that each map is completely random. It just feels a little bit empty. Maybe adding different types of guard, possibly a conveyor belt-type tile, anything to spice it up a bit more. It's really fun, but only for 10 or so minutes.

Darn humas, why can't you just leave a "ghost" monster alone to collect his energy orbs in peace.

Quite fun

Nice maze game and game-play itself is good

I really liked the light mechanic. Some form of indication on where the energy orbs are would've nice i think because it feels a bit disappointing if you just wander around trying to find an energy orb to survive.

@DarkCart You win when finding all the orbs.
@Juin There is an arrow in the top left corner pointing to the closest orb.

Controls felt good. It's impressive that you worked in the customization and randomness so well!

Good game, sadly it closed itself at some point.
It's like a new Pacman where you don't see the whole map.
I liked it, but the maze itself looks a but empty.

With more polishing in level generation and some tweaks to enemies AI, could be much better, but well done! The "compass" is a nice touch!

Finished it.
Feels a bit like pacman, and the customisable options are nice.

Love SFML too, great job using it. Also randomizer is nice, adds to replayability a lot.

As an AZERTY keyboard user, I'm really grateful for QZSD mode, as it doesn't force me to switch keyboard layout settings.
The game was quite intuitive. Really liked the fact that your levels are procedurally generated.

i love how the ghost will always be a ghost in the end. You never can win. Fun game. Love the theme implementation.

I liked the fact you could customize the settings in the beginning, would've loved if there was a scoring system, maybe something that integrated with the settings I've selected?

nice little compo entry, may there are only a few features, they work solid. i suppose implementing the map generator has taken your time. I'd welcome some mechanic to counter the humans

Fun game. Kind of challenging at times.

Pretty good! It's a bit hard because of the many enemies that spawns but after all it's a great game!

Sweet game! It's almost like a reverse Pac-Man, with you being the ghost instead.
The level customization adds TONS of replayability. Really cool stuff!
