Monster Free

I really liked the idea the moment I've first seen that screenshot! And peaceful music somehow adds to the experience, it's so casual for you as a monster to catch and eat skiers after all. :D

The way people move is bugged though, I guess. For me they were always going in a straight line and animation is weird. (probably changing the movement direction constantly)

Fun little twist. I went down on my first go, out of habbit I guess. Then I realised, I'm not skying, I can go up as well!

Fun idea! It's very.... relaxing...? kkkk The movement of the skiers are wierd though... Maybe trying to find a path without trees, or just reandom?

This is the game I wanted to play, great job.

Eating skiers was fun. I really liked the animations for eating and falling on the bananas and stones. At first I thought there was no way I'd trip on a banana or walk in to a stone, but the skiers dodge so quickly that it's easy to be fooled in to losing a life.

Unfortunately the web version bugged the skiier movement sometimes, I am trying to figure this out and maybe release a post-compo version.

I have waited years for this remake! What a genius homage. Gameplay is easy yet addictive. I traveled far up north hoping to reach the top of the ski resort -- my search continues :D

One of those concepts that may seem too simple, but turn out to be enjoyable when you start playing anyways, nice job.

Great game! the only thing i had i problem with (Using web) was the skiers were just moving rapidly side to side and that they could go through trees other than that pretty good!

I love the trip animation over the rock. Fun game, nice work.

Music was great and so were the graphics (although I would've liked animations for walking left, right, and up). Gameplay was a bit bland but I wouldn't say it was boring. One thing I feel the need to point out is the skiers spazzing out for some reason but they functioned properly so it wasn't game breaking.

Fairly basic, very soothing in a kind of odd way.

Loved the Foley audio! I wish I could have some of that cereal. Listening to him eat heads made me hungry. Really cool concept. It was fun finally getting to be the monster in ski free after being defeated by him so many times as a child. Great game!

This is great! My absolute favorite part was the animation of the monster tripping over a rock or a banana.

This is the second game I've played where this is the concept (Ski-Free in reverse), but I think I like this one better. I really appreciated everything more because this is a compo entry, so I know that you made everything from scratch.

It is easy enough to just dive right in, but challenging enough to keep you wanting to play more.
