The graphics of the balls are fine. I would put better texture on the ground so player can see where is he moving. The combat is not challenging for me.
Is it really your music you composed and played, as are the rules?
Collision is very weird, fells like you are pushing them away from you and you can't reach them with the laser. The lack of texture on the ground made hard to see if i was even moving.

Good stuff. Like being a cannibalistic M&M in a packet of entirely blue M&Ms.
I had to do "chmod a+x Monster\ Nom.app/Contents/MacOS/Monster\ Nom" on Mac before being able to play the game, but might have been me unraring it wrong.
Agree with others that there's too little visual feedback on your movement. Animations were nice, the rest felt unfinished. Keep it up!
