Monster Tinder is a fun way to meet and connect with fun and cuddly monsters around you. Swipe right if you are interested, swipe left if you are not.

Dev Notes:

Monster photos and names are randomly generated. We ran out of time before implementing finding matches and chatting.

We will finish this up post-jam and release on iOS and Android.

Created in Unity, but exported to WebGL (HTML5), so you don't need any plugins to run.

Loved the randomly generated monsters! Some of the results were hilarious (props to the artists), and there were enough combinations to make swiping interesting. Would love to see an expanded version of this, maybe with some simple background music or ambient noise for some added engagement.

Interesting because I've seen another very similar take on the theme this jam. This one has more emphasis on the different wild and wacky combinations of users; there's not much else to do. Maybe focusing on what monster dating profiles could be like is an idea of untapped potential?

The idea rocks! Not only you're a monster, but one as shy as I am. Tindering monsters is truly a winning concept, you will have me downloading it as soon as it is out for android!
