A game where the main objective is to kill heroes the your "clients" are being pestered by. The heroes are some what "spin offs" of real game protagonists.
That all are Toy as the title states and that real game heroes move sets where edited to fit the stile of game such as Mario being made into a pyromancer and looking nothing like his self (view screen shots above) the only thing they have in comin is the name and even that is edited. They are very roughly based on the original character (try to guess how level twos heroes are).
The game is a top down shooter with the MMO functionality of having number keys to do various special attack that have cool downs. The game only three levels long, I was just a bit too ambitious.
btw to edit the controls scroll all the way to the bottom of the unity start up launchers inputs, sorry.
Is stage 3 impossible? :D Its hard to actually understand the concept, well I still don't know what the minions are for, but it already made some fun. Maybe a background image would be nice, so you see your movement better :)
The special attacks were good - the shield worked well and the laser was satisfying, although I think it disappears pretty quickly. I didn't like the fact that there isn't much feedback when you win or lose, you're immediately transferred to a different game screen.
Fun game shooting the heroes with good 3D graphics and lighting effects. Couldn't tell when the heroes were hit - be good to add health indicator to them.
I like that this is more than just shooting and there are tactics involved in using the shields and other special abilities effectively. Found even the second level pretty hard before working out how to make the most of these. Music was a bit annoying :)
There are definitely some issues here, like the lack of feedback when you hit an enemy, and the lack of recovery frames makes it easy to die like, instantly, but overall it's not a bad attempt.
