You are the monster under a child's bed. Kill Knightmares to score points. In the beginning, new Knightmare spawn every 15 seconds. The spawn rate ramps up every minute.
I made this game in HTML5 with canvas and javascript with jQuery, a platform I had, until Friday morning when I was doing my traditional Ludum Dare warm-up "game", only worked with for a grand total of about 3 hours. It was an enjoyable experience, and while the game isn't terrific(you can definitely tell I'm not an artist), I'm happy with the final result.
If you're playing on the embedded version, you won't have seen the controls. They are as follows:
WASD or Arrow Keys to move
Left Click to summon a Fright
Right Click to perform a Dark Blast
