AI Growth

In A.I Growth, you play as a scientist trying to build the world’s first A.I. What makes this game different from other robot building games is that instead of programming it directly, you wire the A.I to solve the puzzles itself. The A.I is mostly experience based, so it provides some interesting strategies. You spend most of your time wiring up the neural network to solve the puzzles. You will have to teach your A.I things about what it likes and dislikes.

When we were thinking about what game we should make, we decided to make something non-biological for growing. The obvious choice was A.I. At first it was a joke, but then we started to look into it and thought “Hey, maybe we could make a good game out of this after all.”

It could use some instruction/tutorial, maybe just in the description page. I can't get the circle to reach the green square when linking the green color with dopamine, but it does work with the light sensor and dopamine. I don't know how to delete entries on the board (like color) or links between them. I do really like the concept thought, it has a lot of potential as a puzzle game. Make more levels!

If you wish, you can also rate my game: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-34/?action=preview&uid=44126

Oh, sorry. The green triangle does not count as green.

Really cool idea. Solving a puzzle by programming a robot with a network has a lot of potential. I beat the first level; does the game have multiple levels, or is there only that one?

It took me a long time to figure out that I needed to right-click drag to connect nodes. More detailed instructions would be very helpful.
