First Ludum Dare (#34) and overall fully completed game.
Use A and D to move the plant left and right, avoiding rocks and collecting water droplets. Make sure to keep your hydration bar above 0% if you want to stay alive. Reach the top of the screen and sprout into a flower.
Nice idea, but the level randomization could use a bit of work. It's sometimes impossible to reach the droplets fast enough or without hitting obstacles :(
The aesthetic is very nice, the game respects both themes and the fact that it has an installer made me smile
Definitely a lil rough on the edges (but that's Ludum Dare for you), sound could have enhanced the mood further and the rocks often block droplets leading to uncollectible situations for the player. Left and Right appears to lock up at points as well, but other than these points the game is simple and sweet, keeps with the theme pretty well too. Good job on your first submission, I hope we can see many more from you in the future :).
Nice concept, but can improve much on the game play like random position of the water spawn and art part like instead of scalling the image you can tile the tree for showing the growth.
I thought the graphics were a little odd-- you have these big pixelated rocks, but the rest of the graphics were at a regular size. The Wild West font just looks silly too.
Still, this is much more polished than a lot of first time entries. I hope to see more games by you in the future!
