A game in which you play a YouTube prankster, walking the streets and harassing pedestrians for views, subs, and money. It incorporates both themes, the main game is 2 button ("A" and "L") and there is growth with your YouTube channel.
Ok the art is crude, it's buggy, and there isn't loads to it, and it's unbalanced as hell. But I thought the idea was funny and I ran with my first game jam game.
To play the game you hit the play button, then when you run into someone you must mash "A" which punches them, making them angry. And before they get too angry you must mash "L" to calm them down. Punches = views = money. You can upgrade your network for more money per view, and upgrade your camera for more time to harass people. Try to become the ultimate scumbag.
I think the idea is quite interesting, but the lack of feedbacks make the game hard to understand. Try to have a smaller scope (have a management system AND an action gameplay was maybe too much for a first LD) and focus more on feedbacks next time!
