Oh game, not bad, was hard to get good at it but once I had it I enjoyed it.

Jumping has no momentum, so it just jumps vertically and I cannot reach even the first little platform

Jeez that was harder than I thought it would be - fits the two button theme but just getting used to it is hard, then you've gotta dodge enemies! ;D Jumping may have no momentum, but you can move in midair so that's not really an issue for getting to platforms - I think the controls could have been made easier but overall good job :)
