You are a lead Software Architect, supervising a team of programmers (aka a herd of code monkeys). They’re not the best in the world, so they’ll produce a buggy mess of unmaintainable code unless you tell them to refactor at the right moment.
How much code can you produce before you’re fired for incompetence and the project is rewritten from scratch?
Only one monkey can work on a single block of code. Divide (refactor) them once they reach a certain size to increase output.
If more than 8 blocks reach maximum size, you lose.
