Due to my time being cut short by traveling and such, this is all I have made. It uses 2 buttons and your frustration grows due to my evil design. As much of a Souls-esque platformer as it is, it is possible. Use the games broken systems to your advantage (be the speedrunner). If you miss a portal, don't fret, no two playthroughs are alike (as far as you know) as different portals take you to different levels. Thank you so much, and check out my non-stressful work at 240interactivefiction.weebly.com (Yep, I'm buying a domain soon)
I never quite got the hang of how to time the jumps. Somehow I managed to get to the second level but there it became impossible for me. For one thing, the view ahead was really short. I think it would have been nice if the character was placed about a fourth of the length from the left. There was some odd ability to glide in the middle of platforms too (it saved me many times). Nice little start for a game.
Quite challenging! It felt much like 'The Impossible Game'. I felt it was a bit too hard to be able to react properly with the cube being so far right of the screen - I had to die on almost every obstacle before I knew when to jump/if at all. Good attempt!
