You are part of an experiment realized by scientists in AREA-51, but an accident ocurred and you can shapeshift through time but still be an ape. So now you are free and you need to survive against your enemies.
It only runs on Windows, sorry Mac users and Linux users, I dont have GameMakerPro. =]
P.D: 1st time participating in Ludum Dare so the game couldn't be fully finished.
Man, I really think this one has a lot of potential. Sadly not being able to restart when you get a game over, specially in such a difficult game, makes it hard to really check it out. Wonderful pixel art nonetheless.
The game looks absolutely fantastic and the work you must have put to develop the different shapes really shows. It is a bit too hard though, the start really punishes you and doesn't allow you to check out your different abilities. Would havve been nice to have more feedback when hitting the robots too.
I haven't been able to progress though : every time i went to the passage on the bottom left my character would get stuck. If you can tell me how to work around it i'll try it again !
oh god! this was hard one X) i didn´t passed from 5 kills :( The animations and the diferent characters are very well done, they feelt realy good! Hope you had time to make some sound to create a better mood.
The game is very well put together and the gameplay works impressively well. The different attributes of the different evolutions makes them each stand out very well, and the gameplay is very engaging. Sadly a lack of sound, but hey that's more of an extra thing. I can definetly see a lot of potential from this, especially with more enemies and such.
Great pixel art, but the game seemed to be pretty buggy. Dead robots had a weird habit of continuing to move around, and the machine gun would just stop firing occasionally.
Lots of potential here though, could be a great game with some audio and a bit more polish!

I loved your entry! The idea is so funny! Loved the mechanics, limitations and abbilities of each evolution, also loved the pixel art, is the cherry on the top, definitely! The only thing I could mention is that should be an indication someway (maybe a simple fx), showing the enemy is being hit. Nonetheless awesome entry! Congratulations.

Awesome graphics and animations, I love them! The transformation idea with different attacks and having different speeds/jump heights is really great. Difficulty is pretty hard tho and I think the control scheme is inconvenient.
Looks great and fun but very hard for me. On windows 10 pressing shift 5 times is the keyboard shortcut to turn sticky keys on or off so the game would be interrupted by it if I wanted to use the shift attack.
The game has potential, and is a good attempt for your first jam. I think it would benefit a lot from a Shapeshifting mechanic beyond pushing a button, like evolving when you pick up a heart. It's also weird that the platforms you start on seem to be too high to jump back up to them.
Amazing art, everything looks really good! The gameplay is a bit unforgiving and there is not a lot of incentive to choose one shape over another depending on who we are fighting against. But as others have said, there is a lot of potential here, so good job guys! :)
Pixel art is great, animations are so smooth! Game is fun but I don't really feel the progression in my ability very much, it feels like a sandbox. Again great art.

I loved the game, felt like a primal XD didnt know how to get to the top floor again, but i just kept on killing everyone at the bottom, loved the spear form, threw them from far constantly haha :D
Maybe some balancing to increase the difficulty after some time could be good. Also, sometimes I got stuck on the walls, after jumping from the primary form and immediately evolving :p
Nice combat mechanics, unfortunately I think the enemies were too overpowered and there was no way to attack-hide. The graphics are marvelous and the visual feedbacks are nicely done, very sad there is no sound. Lots of potential if everything get balanced.
