Desert Trader is trading oriented game. The core gameplay loop consists out of you driving from city to city, while stealing goods that fall off a truck, to sell your resources there. Shapeshifting comes into context when you select your next city to drive to. Instead of choosing your city right away, you can select as whom you want to disguise. Different cities will offer you different discounts depending on who you are. So use that to your advantage.
The game itself is not the best, no excuses. But we had fun making it in this short period of time and it taught us about planning our next Ludum Dare. If you have any feedback whatsoever, please leave it in the comments below. Thanks!
