Well done! :) I liked the zombie sounds! :D Didn't recognize the LD theme, though.

Thanks for the feedback. Think the issue with the controls is to do with how I handled the animation. As for going back to the surface, yeah I had a few ideas for that but ran out of time. I might try and add some improvements after the competition is over :).

brwararahahahhhh - loved the sound effects - game is good but i felt the maps were far too large - and man are the upgrades expensive - really nice work

The game really caught me for a couple of minutes before it got too repetitive. Nice job on the level generation! Did not understand where the theme was applied, though.

The actual game was fine, but things such as poor control or your character and huge maps kind of drew from the enjoyment a little. Otherwise, I was pretty ensconced in the experience until I just couldn't find a way out of level 7. Solid entry :)

It was a fun game, although the collision with enemies wasn't perfect.

I couldn't figure out how to go down the stairs nor how to talk to the character. I also couldn't walk down hitting some sort of invisible barrier. At least I almost broke my keyboard and mouse hitting all the possible keys and buttons.

The way you attack is difficult. Great game, seems that you did a lot of work.

Player movement feels pretty awkward, sadly - the way you don't turn instantly feels off with WASD controls. No real difficulty curve either as far as I experienced? Maybe later on if I had stuck with it? But yeah time constraints I imagine :)
The zombie noises made me smile :D
