As a newly created, and released, lifeform, all you can do is search for a way to freedom. You'll have to eat things.
Just a couple of things to note. This is my first time entering LD. I've been teaching myself to use Game Maker and Unity on and off the past 6-12 months, but I'm quite a slow learner. I'm used to abandoning a project before it starts resembling a game. I'm not entirely happy with the way this one turned out, but I'm satisfied enough to put it up. I was too disorganized with my ideas. There's some real problems with collisions, and the art is what it is, but hopefully you'll still find it playable. I'm glad to have participated and to have some kind of complete-ish thing at the end of it. Any feedback will be appreciated. Hope you enjoy.
Controls:
Movement: W,A,S,D
Eating: Left mouse button(hold)
Purging: Right mouse button(hold)
Spit/shoot: Middle mouse button
