You can steal the powers of you enemies. Well, not so much 'steal' or even 'can'. More like 'receive' and 'do'. You do receive the powers of your enemies.
Gene Thief is a twin-stick arena shooter where you are forced to become the enemy that hurts you.
Controls:
Move — WASD/Left Analog
Attack — ↑←↓→/Right Analog
Exit — Escape
Fixes since submission:
Added close key
Fixed melee attacks not working on diagonals
Minor tweak to fix last-minute unbalancing of AoE enemies (you couldn't beat them using their own power)
Known Issues:
Analog sticks not working properly on Linux
