So I was a little distracted this time so no audio. and a lot of placeholders. But i got something working that i'm pretty proud over was pretty harsh to make though. and i'm really proud over the map creator and i'm aware that the movement lags and some forms doesn't work good.
some info: -Circle normal movements and jumping -Box can break walls, no jumping, heavy (breaks blocks when falling on them) -Triangle normal movement, break blocks above, increased jumping, no spin -Hexagon slower movement and jumping. immune to spikes, kills enemies
the maps you make an save can be played but you need a start point.(the darker image with an S on) also in the data folder there is a resource folder that holds the Maps file so if something goes wrong delete everything from that file
It's an impressive achievement in 3 days. Would be more useful if we could place more than one tile after selecting the tile type, by dragging or just clicking multiple grid squares. Unless I've missed something?
A map editor is always a nice thing. The square seems a little bugged, maybe it is intentional, but I don't understand why you can't jump with it because you can get stuck. Good work, it can be a nice game.
Pretty sweet that you managed a level editor in the timespan. I like the mechanic, but it would have been nice to have more levels to play through out of the box.
I think this could be something really cool! I don't see many level creators out there for Ludum Dare games, so this is a really neat concept! Would love to see you come back with something like this next Ludum Dare and make an even better version!
