First time “finishing” a game on my own and first time in a game jam. Loved it!
Spent a lot of time trying to fix stuff that didn't make it into the game, like making stuff pixel perfect which I had to give up. Making the slime split to smaller pieces when hit and merge together. Was really close on both tasks. Had plans for a lot more, like civilians getting transformed to slimes if not saved in time as well as a death animation where the player turns into a slime. These shortcomings sadly makes the theme, shapeshifting, less obvious.
