A speed based platformer about finding the fastest way to the end.
Controls: A and D - move left and right Spacebar - Jump Left Right and Down - Change Character
Sweet Jesus nobody told me Game Jams where this hard... It's still kinda buggy, and super unpolished. I'm mostly posting in the comp just to prove to myself I did it.
EDIT: Uploaded an older, slightly more broken version on accident new version fixes background color and music.
This game is fun and has nice mechanics. Besides some minor bugs where I fell out of the map or got stuck on a platform the overall experience is nice and stays true to the platformer genre while staying on the shapeshifting theme. Nice work!.
nice game. I like the controls but i think jump should have been moved to W (up for WASD controls). Also i got stuck in a wall one time when i was moving really quick. other than that, no errors. good job!
It took a little while to get used to the controls and the physics, but I really enjoyed this! The later levels, which showed how all three shapes could be used together, were a lot of fun. I liked that there are different paths through the levels, too; it really encourages the 'speedrunning' aspect. Now you just need a timer and records of the best times, haha.
