I like this. The graphics are nice, and I like how you don't actually have to memorize the entire sequence, just remember a few ahead of where you are currently and find the right pace. The FIRST time I played, pressing esc after losing didn't restart it properly (and yes I clicked in the window), but the second time it DID, except there was only one wave of enemies followed by nothing. I had fun though :)
After downloading the 140 MB java framework to play this, I can tell you, the ESC bug is still not fixed. I can get past the first screen if I hit it like 7 or 8 times, but on the second screen where you have to press it again, it gets way stuck.
I love the concept, but in practice there's nothing stopping me from jamming all three fire buttons at once repeatedly and blasting the enemy ships with an inescapable carpet of multicolored destruction. ^_^;
Pressing esc worked for me. Interesting concept of the theme. I found the gameplay quite difficult, I would forget which keys spawned what colour. Overall solid entry.

Couldn't remember the color/key combo, so I kept shooting with everything... Kinda worked...
