Really cool idea and very lovely graphics and animations. A bit of sky variation may have helped not being disoriented with the high jumps. The platform physics seemed a little clunky and there was no "death" after falling out of the world. Confusing pink sqaure was a thing as well. Really cool concept, good job!

Unfinished, not worth the download. I would say, the art style is almost consistent, which is good, I guess, but the rest... The controls are terrible, and it makes no sense, why you would use Q to go left and D to go right. The attacks are not explained, why those the squidhead attack only work on certain enemies? Also, this might be my thing, but everything has a time and place, and Cthulhu is not some giant squid-faced monster. That wasn't Lovecraft's point when he made that character. ...but this is the problem with the rest, why are we turning into game pop culture references? Why not make up your own, these have nothing to do with the game.
