The shapeshifting theme is pretty loose and a little grisly; my writing isn't great and due to restarts this only really got serious work from 2pm on Sunday, so apologies for any awkward phraseology and general poor quality. UPSELLING!
:) So, this is the first time I've ever finished a Ludum Dare project to a reasonable degree of completion. It's also my third go at such, so that's the charm, I guess. Next time I'm hoping to to have something with a little less forced humour and a little bit more player agency.
Some brilliant writing to make an absurdly twisted story into one of shapeshifting! Breaking the fourth wall, shapeshifting into a meat sandwich and describing exactly what you're going to do to your intruder are what makes 5560 words worth reading! :)
