The main character must transform into different forms by using "azer" or "uiop" to pass through obstacles.
You die if you get touched by the left of the screen which keeps going on.
You have a normal mode which consists in surviving during the indicated time, and an endless mode to see how far you can go.

Made with SDL, C++, a team of 7 developing students and a wonderful graphic designer =)

Edit :

Lack of time prevented :
- We designed the wolf / rabbit / feline form for bonus points with a faster game
- We designed the human form to survive the hunter (you may see his image in the archive "Images" directory) and doors to open.

Some gameplay element could be improved to be less frustrating, but other than that, it's nice

Yeah guys, we've been short on time for the deadline. :( I've easily made an .exe for Windows from the SDL source with CodeBlocks the day after. I hope I can upload it soon.

I think you should pack a proper build. It's weird that I need to download 3 different resource archives separately (from a very slow hosting, btw).

I downloaded all four zips and extracted them to the same directory, then ran wildrunner.exe... and nothing. A command prompt pops up only to shortly close and nothing happen. Maybe build a proper installer?

The game concept is very interesting . I think more attention to jump , improving the collision and physics would better leave the game !

I couldn´t run it, I click the .exe and a comand prompt shows up, then the window of the game appear but only shows me the controls.

When you said 7 developers I would have expected a bit more from the game. I liked the audio excepted the creepy girl laugh when you died. Animation was good, but you could have made different sprites for jumping. It was a bit strange for a kangaroo to basically fly over things.

Good job for your first Ludum Dare entry! Sometimes the mechanics felt a bit weird, and the physics weren't the most realistic, but the concept, music, and art were great!

Welcome to Ludum Dare and gamedev guys ! This is a pretty cool entry you made there, especially for a first one. I enjoyed playing it, the game concept was interesting, the animations were pretty nice and audio was great. Physics could be improve a bit but it doesn't hurt the fun that much.
