Wow! A multiplayer game is really awesome, and i'm impressed how far you were able to get over the weekend! Once I had a ton of acceleration it was really hard to stop or turn around, was the transformation supposed to help me with direction/speed changes ?
@disdanes: The rocket is fast but shoots and turns slowly. The fighter can spin around and shoot faster but is slow. The miner can't shoot and is slow but gets gems.
awsome multiplayer, i liked the concept and where your going with this, how hard it is to use node js for multiplayer? as mentioned before the ship is not so easy to control once you go fast.

Cool game! I liked how the 3 forms of the ship worked together, once I figured them out. The speedy one, the agile battle-ready one, and the shielded digging one. I got up to 5 points one time.
Unfortunately I never did find any aliens or players to battle. So I feel like I missed out a bit on the combat. But I'll probably come back to this one later and maybe have better luck. I did find a lot of planets and diamonds :)
Cool concept, looks cool, I would like to see this turned into an open world RPG type game, where you can unlock more ship functions to explore uncharted places in space, trade your wealth for other useful stuff, etc...
Wow, multiplayer in LD is always impressive. Unfortunately I just was with an afk player... Controls are hard (even with rockets), but I think it's part of the game... Graphics are effective.
This is a really neat concept! I was able to do some mining, but I really didn't know where I was. Some indication where other things / players are would have been helpful!
It's an interesting twist on an old favorite when I was a kid. I didn't get to experience any multi-player aspect, but add some other objects to space that can be used against others and it might have more replayability.
Impressed that you were able to do a multiplayer game in such a short time, although I didn't run into anyone else while playing. Liked the different ship states but just wish the transformations happened quicker so I could fly around rapidly changing flying styles. Nice entry.
