Another Day With Grandpa

This game is a parody of technology and what we consider old. It takes 5 minutes of not dying to beat. Your grandpa is very mad because you did not do your homework.

The game is hosted on my own website.

I have not developed games for long, please keep that in mind.

This game was developed in Construct 2 with some help from gimp and the internet. I did not make the music.

Try using the up arrow instead of clicking and keep in mind you can double jump. This game is not impossible, when I tested the game I beat it a few times myself.

Controls:
Up arrow is jump, You can double jump

Considering this is an 5 minute (not really endless) runner that is all there is to the controls.

Music is 10000 Tons of Sugar by Eternal Sushi.

That was.... interesting, to say the least. It's a pretty simple game, but using the narrative as a means of keeping the player interested? Not a bad idea at all. Pretty hard to survive for 5 minutes, though!

Oooooooookay? Quite funny, there were some grammatical errors though. I like the spin on "ancient" technology as well as the reveal that grandpa studied ancient magic.

To say that I didn't have fun would be a lie. This is certainly a winner in the humor category! The music is perfect. :D I think it needs some graphic work though. But great job!

Very strange game, but a cool idea for the story :D The jumping sometimes doesn't work properly, if you run into the obstacles. Saying alive for five minutes seems pretty impossible to me :| A cool if a bit messy take on the theme :D

I really enjoyed this, gameplay is a bit too hard with any obstacle making you fly upward but with some balancing and variation could be funner

I wish I was skilled enough to see the end of the dialog. It's crazy, and it's naive, and obviously it misses many things for a proper game, but I like it!

This game is nice, simple graphics and surviving for 5 minutes is really hard. The obstacles sometimes gets in your way.

And the health indicator is best if you made it into a health bar, and it's recommended that you to make a game over screen.

Some of the dialogs are funny. XD And I wish I can see the end!

Overall, good game mate! Hope you get better! :)

This game is pretty simple, but really funny! The flying grandpa throwing old phones and the dialogs... A lot of fun ideas! :)

That was interesting.
I had fun and actually licked the book :)

I would actually take the health system out and when billy got hit he would just roll and keep running. No gameover.

Build it more like a interactive piece of literature.

This entry gets a positive grade!
