This must be YOUR LUCKY DAY because you just picked up the hottest new Electronic Handheld Experience, The Mummy's Boom!™ Can you help the Mummy™ recover it's lost Talismans™ from all TEN LEVELS the Tomb of Doom™?
Here's the Scoop:
Mummy's Boom is a puzzle game. Place bombs to break blocks and find the talisman in each level.
CONTROLS:
LEFT / RIGHT - WALK
UP - JUMP
SPACE - DROP and KICK BOMBS
R- Restart Level
TIPS:
- PRESS SPACE to Place a Bomb at your feet.
- To KICK a BOMB, Release SPACE while you're still touching it
- TO PLACE a BOMB, Hold SPACE until you have walked away, then release.
KNOWN BROKENNESS:
- You may occasionally get stuck in tight corridors.. Just press R to Reset the level
- The bombs bounce in a somewhat insane way in some areas but there is a science to this madness
- I have encountered a couple of spots where the mummy seems to die for no apparent reason, if this happens, let me know!
- You sometimes get a little stuck in the floor after taking damage, just jump to escape.
- THE SCORE SYSTEM is basically pointless, I will fix this at a later date.
THINGS I WILL ADD EVENTUALLY:
- BGM of some sort
- Fixed Scoring
- More levels
- Tweak controls
- Prettier opening sequence
- Better and more excessive dumb humor
Tools I Used:
- Game Maker 8 for the Dev (I 99% used the drag and drop tools)

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge.We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

The gameplay was fun but a little too hard for me. I think I found a couple glitches too, but hey they helped me beat the level. ;D
