Windmill Will

The game has to be full screen to play. Mute tab to mute music... sorry.

Left/Right or A/D. Space bar to lift legs. R to restart.

The foliage (GREEN stuff) breaks your car. The fire (RED stuff) will hurt you. The dinos will hurt you and your car.

A physics based game that tests the limits of caveman automotive technology, and hip joints.

So much work needs to be done to make this a complete game, but for my first Jam entry, I'm kind of proud. I am deeply sorry for the music... I was in a rush!

I was inspired by the QWOP genre of games. I did have cool ideas that would have been a lot more conceptually interesting, but then I also have Windmill Willy. He has lopped his way into my heart, and refuses to leave. I have accepted this union.

The game is very fun, not too easy not too hard.
The music is nice, The mechanics are good, and the cave man is hilarious.

The first level my cart exploded and I just walked to the finish, is that supposed to happen?

Any case, I like the spinning leg gimmick.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure if I agree about the music though, after listening to it for so long!

The movement is certainly... unconventional..? I wish I could've had time to explore more 'funny' levels that maybe weren't as frustrating, but I had to stop making the levels to finish the jam.

The foliage breaks your car, the fire breaks you, and the dinos break both. You don't need your car to finish, but you do need to be alive.

I agree with LindenHoltWhittaker, the game could use more of a tutorial.

Haha the music is cool but I can see it driving you mad as you listen it for 48 hours :D
Anyway cool game, with a good, funky feel. Would love to see more mechanics added to it, maybe movement related

Same as Spinach_Chicken, I couldn't get past level 3. Once the car broke, I couldn't get up the slope.

The graphics, music, and basic idea are all top quality though, so congratulations on your first Jam!

The name "Windmill Willy," though... maybe a little too blue?

Nice humour, fun physics puzzler. Wasn't able to make it passed the third level. I'm guessing you need to land on the block as it falls, but I couldn't manage it. Well done regardless.

I changed the name.. Seems people found it offensive.

I didn't intend it to be crude, it was simply the name I thought sounded best in the title. Sorry for any offense caused.
