First off, this game is just gorgeous. I was following it the whole time on twitter.

Playing Spring Cleaning, it has a strikingly Earthbound-esque style to it. The music is great as well. Probably the cutest LD game I've played!

Great game! At the start of the competition I was joking around with a friend about making a game where you're a roomba that has to clean a room. I'm so glad someone actually made it (and a lot better than I could have). :D

This game is hilarious. I loved your take on the theme. Also the music is super catchy. It makes waiting to get all the messages enjoyable.

im not sure if im more surprised that you made a critique of the ludum dare theme through the use of a roomba or that i vaccuumed for over 30 days. great soundtrack too!

Surprisingly good entry, considering how over the theme you were. Music/sound is perfect. Really got me hyped for cleaning! The text and speech SFX were spot on, too.

You could have done a lot more with the room, like more events and stuff, but the narrative and vibe were somehow enough to keep me going.

Good job, lol.

And now I'm curious about Managore's entry.

Anti-games only work when it's clear that there is a lot of effort put into the joke/parody, so this works super well. The text is perfectly captivating and dumb, and little things like the movement being diagonal-only add to the humor. The graphics are great as usual and the music loop is super addictive. Even though it's designed to waste the player's time, it doesn't feel like a waste of time as a player.

Second "roomba" game I have played but this was outstanding. Great work with audio, nice pixel art and fun controls. Level 7 and 14 had me laughing. Really well done

This is adorable! The soundtrack in particular made the whole thing a very pleasant playthrough.

One major criticism: I didn't realize I had to go back to the charging station to end the day at first. I actually was about to rate and move on when I saw that people were clearly commenting on more than what I'd seen and gave it another shot. I'm glad I did because this turned out to be one my favourites so far, but I'm worried some people might make the same mistake.

I have absolutely no idea how such a simple thing could keep me up for 35 ingame days.

Very very chill entry. There's something oddly zen about cleaning up, and it feels like if this was an application just chilling on my desktop all day I'd appreciate it just the same.

You had me going until day 64 :) Pretty impressive that you can keep me captivated for that long. You know you're a good designer when you can do something as simple as take a away a piece of trash and make it interesting for the player :)

Haha, nice! Graphics are really great (though I maybe would've liked to see the game at 2x scaling) and the music & sound effects were awesome too, I love the style. One minor gameplay issue I had was that at first I didn't realize I had to go back to base to finish the day, but that's obvious in retrospect. I was wondering if this was just gonna be a meditation on the repetitive life of a roomba, and then... though honestly I would've preferred the meta-stuff to start a little earlier, at least for this LD format. One day I wish to get a shoutout on a 0x01010111 game! Gave up after day 35 :P Nice work!
