You wake up after one hell of a party, or so you assume.

I just wanted to make a short escape room puzzle for the "one room" theme, and this is the best I could do. Honestly, I would have liked to add more silly details in the room like stuff under the bed, secret panels, and maybe even an animal mascot companion character, but with less than 30 minutes to go until the deadline, I suppose that's not happening!
Anyway, I've never made a game in my life, only helped here and there with audio and design. I figured LD37 was as good a time as any to start getting into the nitty gritty, with Twine as an entry point, and here's all I made.
Audio starts several passages in, so don't worry when it doesn't start ASAP. Yes, I know that there's a Javascript solution to stop audio from resetting every passage, but I tried it and it deleted my entire story on day 2. If the heartbeat that starts the main BGM gets annoying, you can always just mute the tab and play the audio file externally! Incidentally, audio also does not work if you're playing with the folder zipped.
Thank you for playing, I hope you at least enjoy the sick jam I wrote for this, totally made just by thinking "999" in my head and writing what my brain said I needed to write.
If there are any bugs that get you stuck in logic loops, please tell me, it might be too late for judging and submission, but it would help me keep learning, academically speaking!
As an aside, how do people code adventure games??? I had like 5 or 6 important variables to keep track of and the story structure in Twine for this is an unbelievable mess.
