Bird Cage
Just a simple game, I haven't had a lot of time due to school.
You are a parrot captured by evil ornithologist in a killing cage/room, try to survive as long as possible.
It may have some bugs, and some thing aren't as goo as I hoped but I just don't have the time to do anything more on this.
I used GameMakerStudio for programming and Paint.net for art(if you want to call it that).
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and don't forget to leave feedback.

Mathiouza, really appreciate your feedback.
I had a lot of work, so stuff like sound, balance and really anything that wasn't core gameplay just got pushed to the side.
I actually really like the game and I am going to polish it and post it on Itch.io.
And lastly, there is a force field in the cage. :D

Yeah, the sounds were really missing, also I'd suggest not using installer but just a portable exe next time, it's kinda annoying having to install and uninstall the game. Otherwise, cool entry :D

Fun game. I like the parrot's movement and his animation. However the game would have been better with more traps, and with some music/sounds. However, it's a good game, good job !

Nice job in completeing this. The game loops is actually quite fun. The only thing really missing is sound. It would be great if the score would be full number steps - 0.1 feels small and insignificant - give me full numbers. Players like big numbers.
If you continue it, what would be a great addition were stages you could complete - so some accomplishment beyond the pure survival.

Hey, I liked your game it was actually fun.
You can improve the audio and the graphics at some point but overall not bad!

I really liked the art, not sure why you harshly judged yourself in the description, the wing's animation was pretty good. The game was incredibly easy, and i made it to four minutes before taking my first hit. there isn't a difficulty curve, so it gets rather boring. as with what everyone else said, there wasn't any audio.
I just played a game similar to your game, and it these to games, there no sound, whereas the sound is too important in this kind of game.
Otherwise, the game is cool, but too easy.
Finally, why does the bird not pass through the cage ? x)
