The tense atmosphere of the room was smothering. Only 2 contestants remained, the contestant marked "world 1" and the one marked "world 2" after the massive battle royale. The intergalactic treaty was to forbid this from the following atmo-year, but for now slavery was allowed.
The two contestants looked at each other with hesitation. After spending the trip there from with After being kidnapped from their home world and sharing a space cruiser from soise-de-beanoice the two managed to get pretty close, having only each other. They didn't understand each others languages, but fear and hatred towards their captors brought them together. Thoughts like "Why do they think they can do this to me" and "I'm gonna kill every last one of them one day" dominated their minds. But they were helpless. No way to reach the masters and the only way to live was to take out the other.
The two stared at each other, both tainted with the blood of men and women they couldn't undertand, but who probably felt exactly what they had felt. They locked eyes and together let out a big screech. They both understood what it meant. All the fear, hatred and hopelessness was conveyed through it, but also their mutual respect and friendship. Then it began...
