Crown Room

Neat game, I don't quite know if this fits the theme, but the gameplay is fun, good job!

This really feels like an old atari 2600 game. Its unforgiving difficulty fits. The music loop is really quite hypnotic, it gets stuck in my head.

Really hard for me to get hang of the controls, otherwise good and challenging gameplay, nice music and clean art.

I didn't like the sounds, it was c64 all again after all these years. But otherwise looks ok.

Took me a while to figure out how to play. I was under the impression that I needed to swing up to get out, but then realized you can wall jump after looking at the posted video (good idea!). The game was quite fun, but the fact that the timer doesn't reset until it ticks down was annoying. More than once I thought I had the level finished but ran out of time because I only had four or five seconds left after grabbing the crown.

A little bit too hard for me.

this is one game I've seen on twitter and wanted to play. Pretty nice, though I find the grappling hook hard to use, and you can finish the game without it, the music was nice, and the sfx worked perfectly. I liked it

Game failed to start because of missing 'api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll'. Installing .Net 2015 or Universal C Runtime did not fix the issue.
Maybe you want add a download URL to point at the prerequisite downloads.

Feels like an old-school arcade game. It's pretty fun and cool, though I didn't quite understand your take on the theme.

@piwicode What version of windows are you on and do you need any updates? I included the visual studio c++ redistributable in the exe, so I think it shouldn't do that unless there is some problem on your end. I might be wrong, but according to stack overflow, api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is part of the visual studio redist. I hate windows :C

I really like the physics of this game. That was pretty outstanding. But I have yet to escape the green guy, and I've been playing for a half hour now. Then again, I suck at playing video games *ironically*

The game has a nice retro feel to it, and it's pretty fun to play, trying to outsmart all the enemies in the room.
The music loop is kind of painful, though, and the noise when you grab the crown is really jarring.

I love the artsyle, good job.
