Down The Rabbit Hole

Lewis is sad, he has been for a while.
Life is too much,
he feels trapped in his own mind.

Help him to calm and de-clutter,

When we heard about the theme we began to think of classic psychological thrillers; that led us to think of being trapped in and by themselves and so we came across the idea of the mind palace (if you don't know it check out Sherlock or the Method of Loci). We looked at CBT and mindfulness techniques for the games and were inspired by C. S. Lewis and Tim Burton.

We used Construct 2, Clip Studio Paint Pro, Photoshop and good old elbow grease to create the game and were powered by cheap crisps, beer and kebab meat.

We still have loads of ideas and assets on the cutting room floor - we had the overambitious plan to have every object be a trigger for a game or event but time and sleep got in the way.
