Leave a comment even if you don't have anything specific to say, that way I can easily return the favor of playing and rating your game!
If you have an older version of the LÖVE2D (for example 0.9.1 that Ubuntu seems to install), you should rebind the space key or else it won't work!
Dreadroom is a mixture of the classic boardgame Labyrinth (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1219/labyrinth) and a puzzle game I used to play on my Siemens cellphone back in the day. I can't remember the name of said game, but the gist of it was moving your guy to the exit while avoiding enemies, who moved twice as fast as you did.
The keybindings are displayed in the menu and they can be changed (just restart the game if you manage to unbind the Confirm-button though!), but the default controls are as follows:
Space: Changes between character and the pushable tile
Arrow keys: Move character or move/push the tile. Arrow key away from the play area warps the piece to the other side. Pushing a tile towards the play area moves the whole column/row and the last piece of that column/row becomes your pushable piece.
WASD: With pushable tile selected: Select the side from which you want to push from
Pushing a tile or moving the player ends your turn, after which the enemy/enemies move (two times each!). Your objective is to collect all of the stuffed animals (reddish objects) while avoiding the enemies. Brown objects (also the blue bed and the black cabinet) are unpassable by both you and the enemies, use them to your advantage!
All five levels in the game are beatable and even quite easy if you manage to abuse the tile pushing properly :).
