Two wizards enter the Duelist's Chamber - one wizard leaves!

Duelist's Chamber is a boss-focused shooter in which you battle one of five opponents with devastating magic.

Use the arrow keys or WASD to move. Hover your mouse over the enemy to shoot them, and hover over yourself to heal yourself. Touch the cyan mouse icons to counter enemy supermoves.

Edit: The ?????? fight is winnable. Let me know if you manage it!

I like the attack animations and the fights in general (can you actually beat the last boss xD ?) and it would be great to have better graphics for the rest of the game

Awesome game, one of the most fun I've played so far. The first enemy takes a bit long to fight but the later ones are very engaging. This would a great game to expand on past the jam IMO.

solid game play. The changing attack patterns really threw me when they kicked in. That's a good feature. Very accessible too, it took me know time to understand what I was supposed to do. Great work.

Very challenging, but in all the good ways. Every time I started to think "all right this guy's actually pretty easy if I just do this" it proved me wrong.

This is an amazing game with lots of replayability value. I'm not really sure how you are supposed to defeat ??????, but other than that - this is a very balanced game. More particles and sounds in the future would be nice!

looks really neat, but the web version would not load for me. Chrome on Windows 10. Progress bar stopped 70% through.

WOW! Fitting music and great, fast paced gameplay. One of the best I've played. Maybe a little less screenshake, at times it felt like there was an FPS drop when there obviously wasn't. This might have been intentional, though.

It might benefit from some kind of point system, maybe with a system with a time counter so the faster you defeat it, the more points you get.

But yeah, WOW. Simply very fun.

Fun mechanics, the bosses scale well in difficulty and the entire thing is a nice take on the whole bullethell thing. Graphics are sufficient and sound is, while not bad, quite something of its own.

This is one of my favorite games this jam so far. The challenge was well thought out and battle speed was well balanced even the choice to deal dmg or heal is great. Although i didn't manage to defeat the ??????? had fun trying. Would love to see more polished version of this. Loved it!

The white magician is difficult D: in general the game I liked quite a lot, it has good difficulty, but I could not with the white magician xD, the music hits a lot with the game. Very good game, good work.

The hover thing was a good way to reduce clicking. That counter sound effect is a bit jarring, haha. I wish I had more attacks.

Cool concept, simple execution. Every oponent is like miniboss in actual game. the enemies get out of hand realy quickly. I appreciate the scaling of dificulty by adding mechanics rather than stats like hp or dmg. Good job

Fun web game! The first few level are are little easy, but quickly ramps up. Fast paced and fun to play, I loved hitting them with those super shots. Those warning circles were really helpful in later stages. Great work!

Good challenging battles. Hadn't managed to beat the last boss.

If you add some sound effects and nice visual effects this would be awesome game :)

Nice entry! Very fun game, and actually requires some mechanical skill and strategy to play. I love how the music always makes it seem like you're fighting for your life. I like the mouse controls, but the last boss fight with the shaky screen can be annoying to get the cyan stuff.

Beat 4 out of the 5. If I really wanted to, I'm sure I could beat the last one. I just gave up after a while. Hah, good job!

Great game! The difficulty ramps up nicely, the healing and damage amounts are nicely balanced. I got to the final mouse sequence of the ??? boss but kept failing it :(.

Nice entry! I liked a lot the difficulty, the battles are so intense! I didnt manage to win the last fight but I was close, love the special moves of that last fight! The music is strange but as pointed by other, it make you to feel than you are fighting for your life. Good job and congrats!

I think it could use more SFX, and some of the graphics could be slightly improved. Gameplay was challenging but seemed balanced - although I couldn't beat anybody past the second wizard.
