Floor is Lava! - Favorite past time of kids and adults of all ages!

Don't you want to happily hop from one piece of furniture onto another in an attempt to save your life! That's it! Feel the thrill as lava is rising up, flooding the room and burning anything it touches!

Rules:

* Run! And do it fast!

* Jump! And do it high!

* Don't touch the lava!

* Get to the green orb to teleport away!

Wait but how do I move?

Do you even human? Alright here's some tips:

* WASD - move around

* Mouse - look around

* Space - jump around

Okay so here's the deal, I couldn't find time on the 1st day, so I worked for like few hours building a prototype with assets from internet and Unity. On day 2 I was severely demotivated AND I overslept for half a day. But I managed to implement all the menus, and model 2 levels in Blender. I even added a bit of sound!

Why do I tell you this? Well, coz I feel like you might want to know why game only has 2 short levels.

BUT ALSO, because, even if you're like me, demotivated, don't have enough time, many personal and not issues IRL, you can still make something resembling a game!

Tools used:

* OS: Windows 10 (My daily driver is Arch Linux, but I was lazy (and a bit scared to try out Linux Unity Editor blindly), so next time :D )

* Engine: Unity Personal (I almost homebrew my own very simple 3D engine in C++, but alas, not enough time)

* Lang: C#

* IDE: MS Visual Studio 2015 Community

* 3D Modelling: Blender

* 2D Art: Paint.NET ("Art")

* Music: Procedurally generated with: http://www.fakemusicgenerator.com/

* Audio: My mouth + Audacity

* Version Control: Git and Bitbucket

* Additional codebase: Unity Standard Assets (for FPS Character Controller and Image Effects)

Special thanks:

* @quaternius for his model pack that allowed me to rapidly prototype.

* me, for not giving up this time

Oh and one last thing, the code is dreadful. I was hacking away like there's no tomorrow.
